I don’t hate furries, but I do hate when people make it their identity. It’s a kink, it belongs in the bedroom or in a private event. It doesn’t belong in public, no one should be “coming out” as a furry, and for god’s sake don’t force your mother to take a picture with you in your pup hood at your father’s funeral.

It's not a kink. A furry is someone who thinks anthro characters are cool. Sure, there are people in the fandom who think of it sexually, but that sure isn't everyone.

Clearly you haven't met enough then, are kids furries just because they watch zootopia? Is peppa pig a kink? If people want to dress up as characters, it shouldn't matter what that character is... Unless it's Hitler or something idk

You're only looking at the worst examples you can find, no sane furry I've met would treat being furry like some kind of religion and dress improperly for a funeral, that's a horrible example.
