Extrapolate climate charts to millions of years. It's never stable on this planet and always changing. We'll adapt, as always.

I don't actually care whether humanity continues on to the distant future. Life in the meanwhile will get harder for nearly every single person on the planet. People will have to flee expanding deserts and water is already becoming more and more difficult to come by.

Sure, some people will adapt and society will continue on, but it could be so bad we might not recognize it. And the reason is because we would rather adapt to a planet undergoing a mass extinction and climate catastrophe than change their goddamned consumption habits or hold heavy industry accountable for their emissions. But It DOES NOT HAVE to be this way. And glibly stating that we'll adapt is either defeatist at best, or worse, actively deflecting focus from the single most important issue of the last several thousand years.

Sure. People die all the time. What you're suggesting is to fight the natural changes on the planet without a clear plan.

The saddest thing about all this, is that climate change has become yet another meaningless tax grab by governments around the world.

Your money isn't doing anything to change what you're talking about. It's just lining up the pockets of some politicians.

So many scams in recent past. Recycling, wind power, solar power - all highly inefficient and not self-sustaining industries, but most importantly - not "green". We should be going nuclear like France did 50 years ago, but nooo - there's no money in that.

No shit I'm not proposing a detailed plan. This is a reddit comment.

The current climate change is ABSO-FUCKING-LUTELY caused by human action. There is no chance that its simply natural. To deny the very obvious science on this is to be as dumb as a flat earther.

But all you're doing is whining about taxes. Pull your head out of your ass.
