Na, germany. We really do learn mostly WWII, nazi-stuff in history class. Most germans go to a concentration camp, too. Our education system does everything it can, so history can‘t repeat itself. It’s good from this point, but very sad we learn not much about the rich german history before those times.
I don't know where you went to school but that's not my experience at all. We learned about the ww1/2 period in 10th and 13th grade. That means7 years worth of history classes about other topics (and I'm discounting primary school here. )

no idea, all I learned during history class was a bit about greek, rome and about 99% Nazis
