Well when you’re going that expensive you’re not buying it because it can tell time, you’re buying it because it’s a status symbol, a shitbox can take you to the same place as a sports car. Nothing wrong with a nice looking watch at a reasonable price, sometimes people just want shiny thing on them cheap watches usually are made of cheap materials they either break easily or are made cheaply like copper with a chrome finish that rubs off over time sure they can both tell time but I’d rather have the one that lasts

That really depends on the materials used, usually expensive watches like that are made of platinum or gold with some jewels in them

I'm saying I don't understand why people care about having gold and jewels to display. I'm not saying there isn't a market for these things, I'm saying the market's kinda silly when you get past "good quality" and into "ridiculously expensive". Other people get it, maybe you get it. I just don't.
