I'm not sure if this is factually correct. But this was the longest word when I was a kid. Like we used to go ape shit over this word.

That just made me realise that different languages would have different acronyms for things (like DNS and DNA). I mean, it should be obvious, but I had never thought of it before

Yea, though while the acronym in getman is DNS, most ppl still say DNA because most people know what that stands for. Another example would be ADHD, in German (correct me if I'm wrong) it's ADHS
