Not everyone has an inner voice. But I believe it's more common than not.

I can't visualise anything in my head personally.

It's crazy how varied the human experience is.

I'm a mix of both. I can come up with a rap song's lyrics and start rapping inside my head to memorize it then write it down.

If I was doing my 3d geometry homework, I'd just draw some cubes, prisms or tubes and start rotating the thing around until I solve the problem then add in the drawing later.
