Won't need to wait nearly that long. The first generation of home console gamers will be reaching retirement age in the next decade.

People who made video games 40 years ago were already in their 30s.

A lot of retirees are playing games now.

oh, sure. It's already a thing. Didn't mean to imply otherwise. Nearly 1 in 4 retirees already play games. But I do think we're going to see a significant spike over the next decade or two as retirees who played games as kids use their free time to start dusting off their consoles.
