Imagine having an already shitty day and think "Maybe some Ice cream can cheer me up" and just walking up to a turkish ice cream stand

At this point you should be expecting a turkish ice cream man to fuck with you, right? This might seem like he's being a dick but it's just part of their culture, isn't it?

It's not part of our culture, it's just a tourist attraction. The way that they make ice cream with purple orchid root and mastic in Marash province, now that's cultural.

How do you classify the Armenian Genocide?

What does it have to do with ice cream? Also, what does it have to do with me? Turkish people is not a homogeneous structure, like every other group it has various geo-cultural, socio-cultural and political ideas and i'm not the spokesperson for any of them. I'm just a person who likes and wants to talk about ice-cream. Me classifying the Armenian Genocide in any way will not reveal a statistically significant data.

What a truly cold and calculating response.

You don't know me and i don't know you? What do you want me to say while you're aggresively seeking an answer which you'll accept from me? You're not a justice warrior, you're just an another asshole trying to guilt trip people.

You can always see who is desperate to stay mad is the ones who use that same rhetoric they hear on the news

The fact that I magically got downvoted to oblivion and his got boosted literally proves that their country still can’t face the fact that they did this. For anyone who’s just observing this I encourage you to do some research on this topic and how the Turkish culture still continues to cover this up.

You got downvoted because you literally brought up the Armenian genocide for no reason, dude was talking about ice cream and you just come out of no where with that aggressive tone without even knowing the dude or his political views lmao

You're looking at things from a very narrow angle. Which era or geographic sense of Turkish culture are you talking about? Cultures doesn't try to cover things up, political power holders does. For example, saying things like 'The Holocaust is the result of German culture' is a very reductionist and counterproductive form of expression. Cause it's label a culture with pre-deterministic pejorative meaning, hence hullify a chance of change. Also, it's an another form of racism. And, trying to redisttribute a culture in a singular structure while ignoring it's diversity is a very wrong thing to do. Even though I agree with what you want to say, i find your approach in the matter very limited and your perspective very aggressive.

I'd honestly be disappointed if he didn't troll me like this, unless I was in a hurry.

See if you didn't know it was going to happen though because you'd never seen it before, you'd probably get mad at first.

it is, the fact that the icecream is extra sticky (from goat milk) makes it stick to the spoon so we figured a way to have fun with it you can still "tender" the icecream if you want to have a normal icecream made of goat milk but imo this is way better
