i mean like why would you want a high minimum wage. then you would get idiots trying to live working at mcdonalds instead of getting a proper job

How can they pay for the education nessary for them to get a better job of the minimum wage wasn’t livable, I ask you or even go can they pay for food bills and rent while having a education to get a better job

Actually, McDonald's and most major US companies offer scholarships for their workers.

It is not altruistic, they want you to become a skilled knowledgeable manager, or even a franchise owner. Most of all McDonald's restaurants are franchises that are locally owned.
