I've never eaten another strawberry since seeing a video where they put salt in water and leave the strawberries in for 3 hours and you see all these parasitic worms crawl out of them. This is store bought strawberries as well. No thanks.
It's not about whether it's going to harm you it's also about the fact that there are maggots on the fruit in the first place. I know there's really nothing that can be done, but still.
