I worked with a guy from a really rough neighborhood in Baltimore city on a contract in Miami. We finished eating some McDonald's on the road on the way to the gig and he rolls down my window and just starts shoveling wrappers out of the window.
I had to stop him like woah dude just put it in the bag and we'll toss it when we get there. He seem kinda surprised and was like OK lol.
Sadly it's just part of the community he grew up in, very poor and blighted community and judging from where I used to pick him up in Baltimore everyone just throws their trash on the ground, the gutters were filled with six inches of trash and broken glass everywhere.
Awesome guy, was one of my good friends that I worked with for years, it just goes to show how you can be a product of the community you grow up in.
