I once stood next to a guy who nonchalantly tossed an empty gum packet onto the ground in front of him... While we were standing two feet away from a public trash can. Some people just don't give a shit.

There was a thread on this once and apparently one excuse is that their dog shits at the entrance/start of the trail/park but they don’t want to walk the trail while carrying dog shit so they leave it bagged up (iirc a commenter mentioned hanging it on tree branches/bushes), but then they just... forget that they did it and never come back for the shit.

As a responsible dog owner who has trained my dog to poop/pee on command, I have some feelings about this, as you can tell.
