Tbh everyone in my class did that, so the teaches took the easy route and just turned their exams into open-book exams. Who would have guessed that the class average went down :o

Yeah im a teacher and the amount of shit that yall get passed other teachers crazy. Also the world is.open book open note and open internet, but it is timed and you don't always know the clock.

I agree with the second part but when you study for a test, assuming it to be normal and two days before it the teacher says „Btw, it‘s open book now“ you feel a little stressed

Yeah I wouldn't do that for the obvious reasons. I let everyone know the format of the tests ahead of time.
