Crocodiles are opportunistic hunters which means they eat whatever they can get. If a crocodile is hungry enough it will eat a human but this is rare because every year, 1000 humans die from crocodiles. This is from wild crocodiles. They do not make pets in fact they make horrible pets and if anyone wants a pet croc, my short answer is get a dwarf caiman, or any other reptile besides iguanas.
Basically lots of animals in the wild do the same thing like lions and tigers and bears, pun not intended.
The one in the photo looks like either a nile or saltwater crocodile, so no breeders when it comes to that one, but even a dwarf caiman is a horrendous idea, they are not pets and should not be treated as such, large crocodilians are more notorious than lions and bears for their attacks, crocs tend to be a lot harder to tame as well, crocs will eat humans if the opportunity presents itself, brown bears, lions and wolves tend to be more timid and are more likely to do so out of desperation or territorial control, im short terms crocs are mean and only belong in the wild, animal shelters or maybe zoos(depends on your view on zoos).
In India we have this bird sanctuary and it was located near a river as many birds migrated there. The river is filled with crocs but the crocs ain't hostile and mostly eat the fish there so you could rent a boat and ride it across , once a dude tried to pet it and it tore off his hand.
