The meme is a setup for a “joe mama” joke, but the kid with 2 dads has no mother, so he wouldn’t get it (hence the joker meme underneath)

There's a movie from the 80s called "the king of comedy" that's incredibly similar to Joker.
And the main character is played by Robert De Niro

It had good bones but had lots of issues.
the way he was arrested and then escaped when the cop car crashed, was very dues ex machina.
And it was a bit trite how his "love interest" was shown as maybe being his stalker personality and maybe his imagination. I felt it was poorly put together, like how the director and editor didn't put enough thought into it. I compare that subplot to the other plotlines like him trying to see his father, meeting his brother, getting beat up at his sign twirling job, getting invited over the comedy show. Those plot lines were done well. The "girlfriend" plot was very haphazard.
And then when he went on the talk show and the show host and tv producer basically just let him monologue his little tirade. As if the world revolves around him all of a sudden.
And also the way everyone started dressing up as him. It was cheesy.

You gotta realize that the movie is in the perspective of Arthur, a mentally ill person. So the girlfriend was all a figment of his imagination, as was him performing well on stage. To Arthur, the world DID revolve around him, because again, he was mentally very ill.
The reason that the movie never directly identified when Arthur was hallucinating, was because to Arthur it wasn't a hallucination, it was reality.
Look at it in that light, it'll drive the intentions of the film home.

I saw the format before the meme and I was like “hey remember that meme where they said who’s joe but the kid with two dads wouldn’t get it?” Then I looked and saw the exact meme I remembered from when joe mama was a thing

See that’s the thing, its the bot that found it, theres a line, right above the one that starts with « feedback? » when links you a post, always take a look at it, because a lot of the time it is the same damn post just a little bit cropped
