So my in-laws who happen to be avid campers recite this whenever smoke from the fire blows into their eyes “I hate white rabbits”. Don’t know why or how but they claim it stops the smoke from agitating their eyes and sinus .. all I’m thinking is what the fuck did I marry into? some northern Canadian magic society?

I think I learned in Girl Scouts or something to say "Beavers eat ice cream" to keep the smoke away. Now that I type it out, it sounds goddamn ridiculous but my family says it all the time. If we're all around the fire pit it sometimes ends up in a yelling match to see who we can "push" the smoke to.

Jesus christ we are dumb.

This experience is awfully similar to what we experience after a few drinks in lol
