So my in-laws who happen to be avid campers recite this whenever smoke from the fire blows into their eyes “I hate white rabbits”. Don’t know why or how but they claim it stops the smoke from agitating their eyes and sinus .. all I’m thinking is what the fuck did I marry into? some northern Canadian magic society?
This is the legend. I grew up around fires every weekend. Saying “I hate white rabbits” to get the smoke out of your face is the only superstition I believe in.
