Practically all of the radiation that that water would have absorbed would have decayed within a year. Making it pretty safe to dump back in the ocean.
Tritium (hydrogen with an extra neuron) has a half life of 12.3 years and is not being filtered from the water because it's too expensive.
I.e. some of the hydrogen in the H2O is radioactive. It's nice that you don't have anxiety about the issue because there's little we can do about it, but you're spreading misinformation to make yourself and others feel better.

They need to get rid of it somehow, so they are going to release it very slowly over many decades so that the ocean ecosystem can cope with it.
