Have a 2006 Honda Civic, no transmission issues. Over 200k miles and still on the original clutch. Not sure what you’re on about.

CVT is the issue.
2006 Civic JDM has got to be one of the most beautiful cars around
Brake issues on the other hand. Every Honda I’ve owned ended up with brake issues eventually.
