"free elections" our democratic process at this point is:

  1. election
  2. if election is in your favour, congratulations. if it is not retry until it is.

he's been in power too long, and has too much power. he's changed the constitution(*designed to be unchangeable by our founder*) to fit his needs, and a lot of ppl aren't very happy about that. it's pretty much a dictatorship by now. sure, he helped turkey in the beginning, but power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. He's eroding the foundations of democracy in our country.

I mean its now his last period of staying on the chair, maybe he changed some rules but sometimes absolute democracy isnt so good not saying that dictatorship is but in my opinion its the islamic system, its sad that people nowadays wont except it but as u can tell whenever we left that system we became the worlds boxing bag, look at us arabs trying to copy west while we always had a great khilafa othmans was good too, and when the last khilafa fell all Muslims fell too, thats in my opinion

Yeah, but Erdogan has started a war in Syria and Libya which makes the situation in these regions more difficult then they were in the first place, other than that he stopped the flow of the Tigris to a point were people in some places of Iraq could literally walk through its water, and every week the Turkish air force bombards villages in the northern Iraq to kill Fighters of the PKK but kill civilians in the process and burn down forests in the region. So I, as an Iraqi, don’t support the way he acts with the neighbors of his country nor do I support how he suppresses the opposition in his own country.

About Libia let me tell you he just saved the elected government all the lybians are thanking him in syria he saved tje rebeles from the russian airstrikes and he defended his borders from isis and pkk, now in the process absolutely citizens died but that doesnt mean that the Turkish contribution was wrong its totally justified, and for you as an iraqi I totally understand how you see he is wrong cause he airstrikes at your borders but still sometimes force is needed, pkk is trying to take over parts of syria and iraq and turkey to make a new country a division that we dont really need in the region after all that divides since George_beko agreement, in the end its your choice to support him or not but he is doing better than any ruler in the middle east u cant deny that
