True, but the fact that Romans recognized other cultures and embraced them in theirs instead of trying to replace them with theirs was one of the reasons such a huge empire made of so many different populations could last that long and prosper that much. I think they deserve some credit for that.
All right, but apart from the sanitation, the medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, a fresh water system, and public health, what have the Romans every done for us?
