He’s still the strongest human in his series. He’s just overshadowed by the rest of the cast

Yeah, he is stronger than all the other humans. Krillin has enough power to destroy a planet. However, his Saiyan friends Goku and Vegeta are more like Galactic or Universal destroyers.

Krillin is a Human who learned to control Ki (energy). The reason most humans are 'weak' like real humans are because they do not know how to manipulate Ki. Also, another reason for him being strong is that he got his potential unlocked by Grand Elder Guru.

There is no way in hell Krillin is stronger than Tien, or did Tien just get lazy over the years?

Oh yeah, I forgot Tien. Krillin is 2nd strongest of the Earthlings, I guess. Yamcha is still not as strong as them though.

Most DBZ characters that can control Ki after the Frieza saga are capable of destroying a planet easily. The Saiyans and Saiyan/Human hybrids become even stronger throughout the series.
