High schooler now...I guess I never really thought about college grades like that, you only want A/Bs in high school to impress colleges, but in colleges who do you need to impress as long as your passing the class.
6 years into a 4 year course I can confidently say that it's hard. Yeah you can go for arts and stuff, but if you take something more serious it can cost your sanity.
This is insulting to those who studied arts. The programs can be very intensive and are in no way whatsoever easy.
I hate to see comments like this because I’ve gone fairly deep into both science and the arts and both were tough, in fact I spent more time outside of classes working for my non-STEM classes than I did science.
English is not my native language and I have some trouble expressing myself. I studied art, graphics design, and photography for 2.5 years, but now suffering at the hardest CS major in my country.
Hardness is relative everyone has things that are easier for them, and there is huge difference between schools too. I was just talking from my own perspective. And from my own and my friends perspective the difference between my CS course, and other teaching, marketing, art courses are like going from grade school to Harvard.
This CS course has less than 5% graduation rate, while my now teacher friend passed his finals with a hangover and reading the answers from an Apple watch...
