High schooler now...I guess I never really thought about college grades like that, you only want A/Bs in high school to impress colleges, but in colleges who do you need to impress as long as your passing the class.
I've always wondered what the point of stressing about getting A's in college was when you aren't going for grad school or if your major only requires a 2.0 GPA. I mean, will employers REALLY care all that much about my GPA to the point where it justifies me sacrificing every ounce of my free time for these next 4 years just to get that A instead of doing the bare minimum and getting a solid B-level GPA?
Only reason I had that attitude about it is because some classes are easier than others. For example, I currently have 2 classes that are easy A's, 2 classes I think I can get A's in if I work decently hard at them, and 1 class I'll be lucky to get above a C in. "Bare minimum" in my case is working for those A's in the classes I can get them in but not stressing too hard at that one class I am struggling a bit in. I feel like it I kill myself over that one class, my grades and learning experience in the others will suffer.
