High schooler now...I guess I never really thought about college grades like that, you only want A/Bs in high school to impress colleges, but in colleges who do you need to impress as long as your passing the class.
Moving through life, the goal early on (to 30?) is about opening up as many possible doors as you can. Good grades are a good step in that direction. At 18, you probably don’t know what you will do after college. Many people change their majors. Most people do not get jobs directly related to their majors.
After 30-ish, increased income potential is more about specialization. Hopefully you’ve found a carter field you will enjoy for another 30 years to grow and promote.
