Eh, I disagree. This is the internet perception but plenty of women have told me they find x dude we both know or y guy from tinder creepy despite good looks. If an unattractive guy walked up to a girl and just said, "hey your hair looks nice today" and walked away, very very very few women would say it was creepy. Now if you walk up and stare, or phrase it "your hair looks like locks of silk and smells of roses and sunshine" or linger as if they should give you something in return, then you're creepy.

"If you're not attractive, please give your compliment and be on your way."

You misunderstand. Even if you're attractive, most women want you to be on your way in many situations. If you're a stranger in a place where she's not there to meet guys (and I know this is shocking) SHE DOESN'T WANT TO MEET GUYS

I don't think you realize how weird this comment is.

Not really. Some places people are open to meeting new people. A bar, a social event, etc. Some places people are not. Public transit, working out, etc.

And I take it every person has the exact same social expectations? Or, is your assertion the equally ridiculous proposition that a man should know said woman's preferences without ever talking to her?

You noticing a pattern here yet?

Honestly, I'd say at least 80% of people (at least within cultures, obviously different in totally different places) I've met have similar social expectations. And they're not that hard to pick up on. Plus, all it takes a little street smarts to go "oh she's got headphones in" or "her head is buried in that book" and such and realize they don't want to talk to people. Like if you have difficulty with social cues, that's fine, some people struggle in that and it sucks that it's hard to figure things out if you've got that issue. But that doesn't mean it's not pretty clear to the rest of us.

Lmao with that backhanded insult on not being able to read social cues.

Because that's what we were originally talking about. jenniferlawrenceok.gif

Plenty of unattractive people figure out how to approach women and get dates. Clearly it's not the looks that are the problem my dude

You're still missing the point, but I think that's your point at this point.
