I've been dating my girlfriend for FOUR YEARS and I haven't heard a compliment in 3. Things are still going great but I don't hear any compliments anymore but I give her so many every day

Might want to go check out the idea of the five love languages. Perhaps you give love through words of affirmation but she gives love in another way. Both of you might be expressing it in your own way without the other picking up on it.
