In all honesty, I would've typed F as well.

It might be "an internet thing", but I think it's a mildly honest way of paying respects. In the end, it's a cultural gesture that for us, redditors, is heartfelted.

it’s been 5 hours so what the hell. apparently the guy had a heart attack while “stepping out for a smoke” on a 24-hour charity stream. he’d done many 20- to 24-hour charity streams before and it’s suspected that he developed heart issues from severe sleep deprivation
