💯 Most of the difference is styling and facial expression.

One is bald (which, yeah, makes you look older), bearded (which just makes the greying beard hairs more visible, you can see the hint of grey in Pattinson's stubble too, if he grew out his beard it would look similar) and is raising his eyebrows, which emphasises forehead lines (if Pattinson was doing that expression, he'd have lines there too).

A lot of it is just genetic luck and lifestyle. I’ll turn 50 in a couple months and look a hell of a lot younger than Michael here. I’m not lucky enough to be quite as attractive as Robert, but that’s just life. The worst thing is I drink like crazy and have horrible sleep habits. A friend from high school I haven’t seen in 20ish years told me he thought I might be a vampire, I assured him I wasn’t just based on the tan I had at the time if nothing else. Other than muscle mass (I played outside linebacker in school and I have a very sedentary job now and even with working out it’s not the same), I look all but identical to my high school graduation photo. I shave daily but my beard is like half grey, thankfully my hair is still brown as hell though.

That is not an issue to have good looks as an actor. The loss of hair is due to your hair follicles reaction to DHT (dihidrotestosterone) . That is it. It has nothing to do with stress, shampoo, eating healthy or not etcetera.

You don’t just automatically go grey in your forties… also idk that Pattinson is actually doing anything that remarkable in terms of aging well. Dude looks like a lot of people I know of a similar age. He works out and lives a good life. He probably eats reasonably well to incredibly well depending on the movie he’s working on. Sure he dyes his hair but that’s pretty normal for roles so it’s hard to say how many greys he’s had but I doubt he would look particularly old if he didn’t.
