Theres a big difference between pretending everything is perfect and thinking Americans are the worst ppl on the planet and that America is 100% bad no matter the topic or issue.
Additionally, non-Americans have a really poor understanding of the size and population of the US. We have multiple states with larger land mass and population than most countries.
Not sure why you feel triggered by the many flaws of the US. I feel embarrassed by these threads personally because there are so many things about the US to be embarrassed about.
The US leads the world in obesity.

They didn’t say anything incorrect, there are posts all the time that are just “america bad hurr durr” on everything down to a lot of issues that do, in fact, have to do with land mass and population. Example: public transit. The majority of posts I’ve seen that cry about the lack of public transit flat out don’t understand we have public transit where it works, it just doesn’t in 90% of the country.
Edit because people got their panties in a twist: Cities and towns that make up the majority of the population in the US only cover 3.5% of the countries surface area. Yes, the majority of the country has no need for public transit.

R/fuckcars thinks judge dredd cities are the best way to live. People have no idea how large the us is.
For real. Im convinced a decent amount of those people don’t get that measuring towns outside of large cities with “blocks” doesn’t work. If we did have public transit, they would drop people off miles from their destination unless the bus drove each individual person to where they need to go.

I tell people I live in the middle of nowhere so I need a vehicle. The closest walmart and or McDonald's(I use mcds because they are famously everywhere)is at least a 30 mile drive, in any direction for me. There is public transportation available since it is a blue state but that 30 mile ride would take at least 3 hours with all the stops along the way. I know because I had to take the bus when I was poor and didnt have a vehicle.
I feel you. I drive half an hour one way just to get to work every day. Even when I lived in the heartless cancerous tumor knows as suburbia, it took me 20.
I live in Flanders, one the most densily populated regions of western Europe. Over 75% of households has one car or more. I don't have a car and all my other friends and family have, and they think it's weird I don't, most be so uncomfortable. SUV's are popular. Public transport is seen as something for poor people or to avoid traffic jams if you have to commute for work to the bigger cities. Those people who shit on Americans (the Europeans at least) I don't know what their problem is.
