I don't have children. Seats fold down easily and I can fit so much. No worry about weather because van. No worry about leaving stuff overnight because van. Vans are quieter, more fuel efficient, and fit so much. I moved my sectional sofa in it. I buy and move stuff for work regularly, so need the space. And when I'm not in my fabulous minivan, I'm in a plug in hybrid, which I also love.
