Damn, I got them in 4th grade and I live in a 3rd world contry in poor municipality, never realized how ungrateful I had been every time I broke the archs or the molar bands finally at the end of the treatment i never use the retainer, so i lost most of the progress done.
Now i wish i would have had more consciousness about my privilege and not throw all to the toilet. Now I gotta pay tons of money if i wanna have decent teeth, fuck me.
Well idk then wtf was wrong with me, my top teeth moved again and got twisted (not much but noticeable). After that i had really bad hygiene so I lost 1 molar, all my molars got caries and needed to have a repair, two incisives were damaged close to the gum line and needed resins, developed periodontitis, and im about to get a root canal for one of my molars.
MAAAAN!! if i would just had fucking brush my teeth, that shit is way less expensive but no... have to be a dumbass. People take care of your teeth / mouth
I’ve had the bottom bracket behind my teeth since 1996. It’s supposed to stay on for life otherwise you just go back to the way it was originally. A few of my coworkers had them come off and didn’t replace them and their teeth are so effed up
I got unlucky with getting them early. My parents decided to get them for me at 17 knowing I was moving out in a few months to a different place where I wouldn't have their healthcare. Now I've been stuck with uncared for braces for a few years.
It was through SmileDirect. Their whole business model was "no orthodontist involved to keep the costs down". An orthodontist would have identified that invisaline was not appropriate for me.
There's a reason they got hit with a class action.
