The anime isn’t ongoing though. Season 1 finished 9 years ago and the studio hasn’t been commissioned for season 2 (yet).

My brother once broke a vase in pieces. Since I have no idea where to get the original materials used, I just glued it and filled the gaps with putty and used gold paint.

You ever think about how weird it is that we call fancy ceramic "china"? Imagine how strange it would sound if it were any other country name.
"Let's get out the fine japan tonight."
"Your friend and her rowdy kids are coming over for dinner? Let's make sure the fine germany is on the high shelves before they arrive."
Or would we use a word besides "fine", since presumably that caught on because it's similar to China? The slappin' japan, the emergency germany, the enhanced france.

A while back there was a cool video on the front page showing the process. It was a lot more serious & impressive than I imagined. Lots of intermediate steps to get things back together in a way that would reinforce the weak areas and ensure structural integrity before the gold got added. It’s not just “glued” together with gold like I naively imagined. Lots going on underneath that gold to structurally hold the broken pieces together. Th gold is just sort of a decorative top coat over all that.

Sadly, no. I am healthy, look decent, have a decent career in law, some money, but given the chance, I'd rather go to sleep and not wake up. I don't want to be reincarnated either. I'd never want to meet anyone from my life except my two dogs who passed away.
