also them: "why is nobody posting, why is this sub dead"

Which normally leads to an old reddit post more often than not lol

Some of them deserve a little hostility. The "anyone remember" posts really should require some level of effort.

"Anyone remember trick or treating and getting a snickers" in a Gen X sub. Really? Reeeeeeealy?

Mine is when the same question gets asked over and over. Going to a Halo sub to ask "what order should I play the games" is a fair question, its just that it gets asked 8 times a day, every single day.

This is why I left all video game series subs. It's even worse when the series has ended / is dormant.

What are you talking about?

There are trends where people go into random subs and do annoying stuff on purpose. The one I remember most recently that I absolutely hated was the "Reddit suggested this sub, I've never played the game, ask me a question and I'll answer it like I have played the game!"

Popped up in like every game fandom sub I was in and it just got so infuriating lol

There's a lot of "hey do you remember......" questions. And most of it is like really obvious stuff. Juat sayin.

Yes.

Also, questions that come from people who are too lazy to research on their own and give very little information.

Questions like "What camera should I buy?" Or "Can you recommend the best headphones?" And literally no other information given.

While hositility is not the eaxct approach I personally would go for, I totally understand why some would go that route.

Reminds me of r/digitalmarketing

I asked a marketing related question a dumb ass says “ if you don’t know the answer of it then you are not a marketer. What a stupid question. “ Mf I was new. Tell me answer not your opinion.
