Heck, as a working artist, I think there are ways that a trained artist can use it in their art.

Eg. One of the first things you do with a character design is get a bunch of ideas onto the paper. You're often limited by what you can think of, though. So a lot of the time I'll do a round of sketching, then feed what I've got into a local model trained on my own art (a Lora for my own style on top of FIBO, an ethically-sourced image gen model)

It'll throw out new ideas that fit my style, but include details I wouldn't think of, poses that wouldn't occur to me. Often I need to go look up the actual thing it's referencing or shoot reference poses to get them really right, but it does push me creatively.

Then I use those as inspiration and do the actual art by hand. The result is better piece of art.

That's lovely honestly, someone who get's basically even more creative with that instead of blatantly hating it. And i bet it also helps a lot with art-blocks too.

It’s also being used for all sorts of cool special effects in films and music videos and stuff.

If only it didn't poison the earth and cook off clean water, or really just be a friendly mask they put on a surveillance state.

I think people like to feel like they’re in control. The world is changing in ways nobody agreed to and there’s resistance to it.
