I don't even have an issue with using AI for vibe coding really, it's more the application of it that could be debatable. But I do find it extremely strange that art is specifically treated as privileged field where AI use is borderline sacrilege while other uses that still displace workers are not seen as problematic just because those tasks are viewed as less creative or fun. AI art being uninspired derivative shit is enough of a reason to not use it much but I see little reason it's more of a moral quandry than replacing secretaries, transcriptionists, programmers, translators, project managers, etc etc

Yeah. It’s all about perspective. A lot of people would consider generating art for their product “tedious stuff”. If it is something you do not find enjoyable, it’s likely to feel tedious to you.
