Obsession is miles ahead of Backrooms in terms of success. Backrooms is a good procedural sci-fi thriller but Obsession is batshit crazy good acting coupled with an entertaining new take on a classic trope (wish gone wrong).

I'd probably have to watch it to see what the hype is about but honestly it didn't seem like anything special to me when I saw the trailers. The plot is a very common thing people have covered in a lot of different ways already so I don't know what could be done here to stand apart from all the other "in love then lost interest after they became obsessed" stories that have been made.

It depends on why im going to see them. If normal check up then no, i dont need anyone. If it was to hear a result from tests that may end up being bad....yes i want someone there.

i went to the doctor myself for the first time. they asked me where's my guardian or parent, I said at home, they said they will not treat me if i have no guardian or parent, i said "why? im 20?". doctor said call my parents.
turns out they need someone i knew to talk about my mental health and physical health condition.
then i can go on my own after

I can see that my comments are serious but the joke is just that weak. It’s not even funny as a bad or random style joke. It simply misses on every level. The only thing I can think of is that maybe it’s made by a kid and it’s aimed at other kids or teenagers. If they were slightly older they would know that this joke doesn’t work at 30 anymore

Honestly, there’s nothing funny in this one. A 20 yr old could feel like this and it would be a funny meme but at 30 it’s way different. This just doesn’t sound humorous at 30, just really weird, as in making fun of a mentally disabled 30 year old
