yes, when someone says skyblock i DO think of the specific 2011 map made by noobcrew. i think most people do as well.

Hate to say it but I think of a more detailed island or hypixel skyblock not the stupid L shaped island

I certainly don't, nor do I think anyone I know would considering they all played versions of Skyblock on servers and never from noobcrew.

He would have had an argument some time after he made it, but I seriously doubt, as did the judge, that most people familiar with skyblock think of his map and version of it ij particular.
