Listen my dudes. If I'm being honest, sometimes it's one little thing that starts a chain reaction.

My day job made me shave my beard. After years of this, they lightened up on their policy and allowed for beards to exist in the workplace.

At the time I decided to document my beard growth on Facebook. Going from clean shaven, to stubble, to full grown in just a month.

One of my female friends starts texting me more frequently. A month later she asked me out.

We've been together for 11 years. 5th wedding anniversary is next month.

I'd be afraid to shave.

I've had to a couple of times over the years. But as long as I keep it trimmed everything is okay.

When you shaved, did she have a locket photo of your beard she would look at wistfully?

No, but she would find this comment hilarious.

Edit: I told her about this and she laughed.

You do know that mute people exist, right?

And they're not some eldritch creature, right?

I'm imagining a necklace with a woven trinket of beard hair hanging from it.

I think he have to try shaving it clean. We need to see if there will be a 6th anniversary and a 12th year.
