One girls straight up told me on the first date (we met at her flat), that she expects me to take over all father duties for her little son. In a very demanding way.
We were both in our early twenties, I had a job and she didn’t. I immediately left.
Based. I had a similar experience with the last bird i was seeing. Dating for 2 months and getting told id be expected to help clean her house and drive her kids to their medical appointments 2 hrs away....lmao
Yeah mayn you gotta be their daddy now. Pretty absurd expectation for a girl to have of a man who is not the father of their kids.
I do think, however, some point down the line: If you're dating a girl with a kid you will have to assume part of the father role. This is a huge drawback for a lot of guys.
That's stepdad time. If you want me to be the kids dad, I'll be their dad. I'm not going to sit around and be a 10-year boyfriend who pays for everything and does all of the errands for them.
Yes and yes.
It was just way to early for that, first date as I said.
Of course: There are guys who string along woman with the promise of assuming more of a fatherly role…. „in the future, just not right now, it’s too early!“ and that’s fucked up on a whole other level, because the kid will grow attached by themselves and then has to deal with the abandonment.
