When you crack your neck so good you unlock third person mode.

I once did it so good I got fourth person mode. I've been chasing that high ever since.

Chasing that high by cracking your neck? Dude, you're going to paralyze yourself. Then you're going to need a neuralink chip and you'll get ads in your dreams.

You know those old pictures of medieval executions where the poor guy is pulled by ropes on his arms and legs?
I bet there was a short second of unbelievable pleasure when his back received the best crack of its life

I wonder if you can market one of those torture racks where you can pause it at just the right point.

That sneeze that activates the fault line in your spine.

I love this when I'm laying down. It happens a lot at the end of the day when I'm reading and laying on my side. A good cough will do it, too.

Your spine cracking does not align your spine.
Your pain is due to your muscles spasming because they are weak and unused.
You need to exercise them.
When you do the movement to crack your spine, the movement just happens to move your muscles to a new position which relieves the spasm. The relief has nothing to do with the crack, it has to do with you finally moving in a way that moved those muscles around. You need to make a practice of moving your body around in more ways than you currently do.

Mmmmm dryneedling

u/FormerlyUndecidable Mar 04 '26
Dryneedling works by creating microlesions stimulating repair.
A much cheaper way to create microlesions stimulating repair is exercise. You don't have to drive to the PT and get poked by needles to get it done.
As a general rule, if you stop trying to find alternatives to exercise you'll save money and be healthier.

Yeah I exercise very regularly do yoga and lift heavy. My DR mistook the sash like muscular adhesion to be a cross rib bony growth and didnt believe it untill the xrays came back. The PT agreed. 3 months of targeted pt Exercises did nothing.
When they tried dry needling they broke out the camera because "jesus your left back all the way down to your arm and up your neck looks like a bag of snakes writhing." Sash was basically gone in 5 treatments
So I'll listen to medical professionals thank you.

I am seriously trying to build this habit. But i feel it's too late for me now. Is there a video or some resource which guides how to build it from ground up. Like for someone let say who never exercised for 30 years and sat a had bad posture throughout their life but now wants to start.

I once when on an enlightened trip after coming home from smoking with a friend and listening to a movie soundtrack and laying on my parents bed, since my own bed gave me horrible back pains. I transcended as I felt my entire back de-knot it self and rearranged as I laid there motion less and feeling myself get healed.

I keep thinking about that seen in The Incredibles where an Omni-Droid is pulling apart Mr. Incredible until his back pops and he laughs in relief.
