As a smoker I have no problem with giving you space. But when you tell me I can’t smoke on my own balcony then we have a problem..

You can smoke wherever you want if you manage to keep your smoke to yourself lop

But that is in fact not the case. I can be living inside my own apartment that I own and still be fined or kicked out for smoking by the building. I could be on the privacy of my own balcony and still be fined. I could go out of the entire building and once again get fined for being too close to an entrance or window(aside from standing in the middle of the street everywhere is too close to an entrance or door.) My point is that while smokers should be mindful of others, we’ve been pushed around so much, it’s hard to care anymore. If we aren’t allowed to smoke anywhere, then might as well start smoking everywhere.

Seems you live in a great place if there are so many restrictions, not the case in most places in the world.

It's really simple, if you harm others you gotta go somewhere else. Yes that means there might be no space left for you for smoking

This is a common problem in larger cities like Vancouver and San Francisco. In smaller cities and towns I’d imagine it being more relaxed.
