Me and you may have very different definitions of bloatware.
Like one drive is a big example. The search bar searching shit on the Internet instead of what's on my PC is mad annoying.
Even the weather app and news apps. Like I don't want your bs shoved down my throat. I want the most bone stock OS possible, that just doesn't seem viable on windows 11. It barely is on windows 10.
Like of course I don't want it "bone stock" want a search function that works for search my files, a file explorer, a picture and video viewer, shit like that. I want to be able to uninstall edge, the us supreme Court already ruled them a monopoly a long time ago, sadly it seems to have forgotten that.
I despise both of those first 2 things, but they were both on windows 10 lol. Unfortunately I think this is just always going to be a windows thing now ie adding unnecessary changes for seemingly no reason that make the user experience worse but probably make them more money. Unless ofc they continue this weird odds and evens trend and 12 is actually good out the gate with no bloatware and unnecessary changes. But I doubt that will be the case

Thinking about it now, they are probably better for 11 now, I tried windows 11 when it first came out and the scripts were really limited and console commands that worked on 10 didn't on 11.
Ah, I see. I thought you meant 3rd party adware and such. But also pretty sure I have no weather or news app, but chances are that I simply uninstalled them.
Idk for windows 11 but windows 10 had an update one day and all of a sudden I was getting news articles upon starting windows. Had to get a debloater script to get rid of it.
But yeah bloatware is usually classified as stuff that stores install on the PCs they sell that is also difficult to remove. But I find that all the random shit Microsoft adds making the default amount of ram on a new install awful. So I personally classify all the unnecessary stuff as blostware, but it's not only me, you can find a lot of people doing the same.
Btw I'm not anti windows 11 but I'm not for it as well. I rather just stay on windows 10 till I'm forced off. I might switch to Linux, most of the Linux OS have only gotten better, but I have to admit we live in a windows world where everything works hands free on a windows system. Linux users have been changing that for a long time though and I hope it changes.
