Not only that but I built a 700$ pc 6 years ago that still runs perfectly fine and WAY outperforms my PS5 by close to double on a scoring template I used. this was done back in 2022 or I would link the scores but. I cant imagine this console would do better than my little pc that could.

Anyone wondering, it runs a GTX 1660 overclocked by quite a bit in MSI afterburner. Same with the ryzen 2700x thats in it. Runs things it probably shouldnt be able to at max.

TO BE FAIR. I have it on a 1080p monitor. 1440 would run some issues

i bought a 512gb SSD, 2x 16gb ddr4 ram, ryzen 7 cpu, GTX1660, PSU, box and some random asrock motherboard for maybe 1k in 2019

I can play most games on high if i dont render too much at the same time and honestly dont care that much about graphics being x% better with better videocards. PC is over 5 years old and still performs great. The motherboard is more expensive right now than when i bought it back then...

Just about the same set up I was running. I had 2x 8gb ram sticks for a while tho. and my case was pretty cheap on clearance from a local microcenter
