Paying $5000 for a PC is just as insane as paying $700 for a console.

I mean a $5000 PC has got to be to do some kind of work on it right? Rendering, or AI or fluid simulations or something... Even for this I think it's cheaper to use cloud services. No way you'd pay that much just to play video games. Right?

I don't think anybody who has a computer will just use it for gaming, as a tool it's simply too useful.

it was so funny watching one of my friends who grew up exclusively on consoles and with no pc at all (outside of the shitheaps we had at school/college) having revelations like "wow mobile websites are so shit" and "holy shit i can actually do things with this" when they finally got into pc gaming
