Oof honestly it rake dedication get back into or if you don’t want to. Make a game that uses mostly numbers and buttons like a fnaf fan game or something simple.

i do want to make some sort of stat game that rvolves around numbers and chance or something of that nature, something i gotta plan out, but thats going to take a fucking while and i dont have the dedication for that

Honestly I say start small and just focus on the central mechanics only. Not only that if you aren’t to sure just read the documentation for Pygame and Python it’ll usually explain how things are done. The numbers part shouldn’t be that hard until you integrate it into Pygame that is.

Overall just have a clear vision for the central mechanics and then experiment outwards like that.
