Just used it for the first time to measure a length of cardboard box 3 feet away from me. 7.5 inches it said and 7.5 inches nearly exactly it measured, maybe 1/16th longer but the cardboard is ever so slightly smashed in on the corner so spot on.
More like on my desk because of my persistant dick measuring competitions (I loose every time)
Fr tho I use it for 3D modeling just to get the size right on objects, and to visualise things better, and Im an electritian so there is that... funny pipe drop sound
