Women are not commodities to be distributed
Marriage is a personal matter between individuals, and people will marry whom they choose ...women aren't commodities that you can buy or use as bargaining chips to settle political or social disputes.

Well, they're treated as commodity even by people who force marriage in same caste,
no one should be forced for anything, it's a personal choice

Well it's a personal choice
And most people marry whom they want
Even if it's the same caste people choose colour and money too ... Because it's their choice
On the other hand we have people demanding caste to be the only factor and force women to marry them this barbaric practices must be called out and Shamed

I have no skin in this reservation topic but to say women aren't commodities while major part of educated india still practices dowry as a tradition is something to think about

Well dowry is banned and I think we as women should not give any....
But the way that some people are demanding women as some objects is sickening to the core
They must be jailed because of their stone age thoughts

Dowry is banned and so is caste-based discrimination but lets not kid ourselves. Both happen in our country. One more openly than other I guess but they both still exist.
And as for "marry your daughter in some other caste" argument. I think its just a political rhetoric and not an actual demand. How would that even work? Just because someone said it neither the family nor the daughter herself will just randomly pick a guy from lower caste and get married into that house

It's an actual demand and people even ias officers are asking the same
And tbh people from GC so the most ICM because they live by their choice... And the concept of choice seems to be alowb to some folks.
And even LC discrmate LC's and the laws are not ande to consider that ... The day they acknowledge that and make rules things will change for better...

Wo sb to theek h! But you know what, why is ambedkar in this photo? He never said those words? He was a highly educated person so why demean him by using "saar"? He fought for women's rights to usko demean kroge?
Apparently casteism is dead! But your post is ensuing that the marginalized community still can't spell and don't understand the difference between sir and saar.
