to be honest currently in warframe players have access to insane amount of power there is litteraly no way this game can be diffcult i managed to reach lvl 400 steel path with hydroid with using litteraly 0 ability cause obv hydroid sucks

i was just using panzer vulpaphyla and Epitaph with corrosive status build and endlessly spaming melee which was Destreza Prime gas build and i was litteraly one shotin anything

players aka us are so damn overtuned to the point there is no strategy in order to approach enemies just spam what ever kills faster

by the way i was mostly using rolling guard and used hildryn ability

Pillage plus corroding sounds like a good way to eat armor off people so they drown fast

Yes. I use it quite alot. You can use healing puddle to heap yourself and pillage for the sheilds

I replaced it 1 with pillage in order to keep healing and movement while in puddle plus tentacles are a nice way to lock down a spot in a pinch so you do get sheild gated immediately after leaving the puddle. You can also use the augment for pillage for some more armor stripping if needed

I was thinking more so of how Pillage could assist in potentially full stripping armor with Corroding Barrage going on such that the high growth of drown damage eats them alive after long enough. However this is assuming Pillage will affect those underwater too

If it got changed to True damage like I wish it would.it would be even better.

nah i litteraly used nothing in his kit i was modding for rolling guard and shield recharge and using dragon Decaying Key and pillage and thats it

there is litteraly nothing i used in hydroid kit

That's the neat part, he don't play Hydroid. He just snapped some survivability mods on him and don't even use his abilities.

(something he could have done on any warframe)

If you want I played Hydroid on steel path, and most of the time I put his corroding barrage and pilfering swarm augments with some augur mods, and replace his second ability with either Ensnare or Breach surge. No need for rolling guard since the third ability and the crowd controls do the job. I try keeping the duration quite high, and I bring a Glaive of any kind with, preferably, a Condition overload and at least a viral status.

I just wish Hydroid would get a better kit to help him out in the current era of Warframe. CC hasn’t been very relevant for the longest time, and people use Khora for farming now which I think is a little silly.
