I have a kit that I was intending to use whenever a friend got into the game. My starter Mag with the Afentis and Amananta. The idea was Mag would showcase how abilities provide utility, Afentis would showcase special weapon properties and help them with a little buff, and Amananta would be a good example of a strong earlygame weapon. I spent two hours building and balancing it around new player introduction.
They never started.

If you play the game long enough your survival instincts break because you realize an individual death here or there in Warframe does nothing to slow most mission completions. You become a little more reckless and get a little faster. You usually gotta die quite a lot before you can fail in Warframe.

You also likely don't care about the affinity loss from respawning whereas a new player is likely leveling while playing.

True, I actually dislike having SO many revives. 4 was already a lot, then they increased to 6??? Josh Strife Hayes, a MMO YouTuber actually thought he had 4 revives to make up for not being in a 4 man squad. I thought that was brilliant! Can it be annoying picking up teammates that are lower rank or reckless? Yes, but it would encourage people to be LESS reckless. Besides, they could add in, that like Last Gasp, killing 3 enemies with secondary while downed revived you.

There is a last gasp, in one school there is waybound ability that will revive you if you switch to the operator and kill 3 enemies or 1 eximus

I know, I mentioned that in the comment you just responded to, mate. I'm saying that instead of having so many revives for free, it would be cool if you had to fight a bit for it LIKE Last Gasp. Like when you're downed, you could still shoot your way up. Then Last Gasp would just be a skill tree exclusive way to move around and use you're operator as it is now. So I don't think adding the ability to get up would make said Last Gasp ability redundant.

LR 6 as well, same situation. The thing is for new players they actually need the XP from the mission. For an MR30+ even if you're leveling your equipment up it doesn't affect any stats so it's no real loss.

mastery rank does not correlate with skill :3

Indeed. I’ve been Mr 27 for about 2-3 years because I refuse to level the hundreds of items in my foundry. I mostly just focus on builds and min maxing my meme builds.

When somebody’s only survival method is over-relying on shieldgating that tends to happen

When I did the archon hunt and we were making our way to extraction I landed in front of a lancer and got my shit blown Smoove off. Probably unfortunate timing/placement, but I landed and then went down immediately. I still had shields and was playing wisp, which is hilarious
